QiBLAH Foods (QF) started in 2020 as a direct result of the covid19 pandemic.
At the onset, QiBLAH FOODS were used as a brand before the business was officially registered on 11th November 2021

Intially, kerepek or chips under the brand name of "Kerepek CiKGU" or, kC were sold. 

Subsequently,  QF ventured into the field of Kurma before Ramadhan. Our top-selling kurma is the Kurma Ajwa Aliyah from Madinah, Saudi Arabia and also Medjoul from Palestine. Other popular dates sold by QF are Sukari, Mariyami, Safawi, Mabroom as well as Deglet Nour from Tunisia and Algeria and Honey dates from Iran.

In June 2021, we started selling Durians on a seasonal basis under the brand name 'The Durian Ministry'. A new QF logo was introduced in August 2021.

The homemade label FASS FOODS were started in 2022 to cater to a select market.
Lasagne- Frozen and Baked, Baked Macaroni and Sos-3-Rasa were sold under FASS FOODS.


Recognition

(1) 2020 - Approval to use UMMAH PRODUCT / PRODUK UMMAH logo issued by IKIAM.
(2) 2021, March - Approval to use FAMA logo. 

The then Secretary of  Institut Kerjasama Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (IKIAM) En. Shamsuddin Damin granted us the use of the "UMMAH PRODUCT / PRODUK UMMAH" logo issued by IKIAM in 2020.

In March 2021, after successfully completing the New Breed Marketing Entrepreneur (NBME) course in Royale Chulan Hotel Kuala Lumpur  the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) allowed us to use their logo in our packaging and marketing/branding activities.


Courses and Development

Staff of QiBLAH Foods attended numerous courses to keep abreast of market developments and improve the products offered by QF. The courses conducted mainly by FAMA since 2020 also enabled QF to enhance our marketing reach and platforms. 

Notable courses attended are: 
(1) Kursus Pengendalian Makanan by KKM and sponsored by FAMA in 2022;
(2) Program Mentor Mentee FAMA in 2022;

(3) Halal Best Practices organised by HDC in December 2021;
(4) Halal Reskilling Programme, Batch 9 organised by Halal Development Corporation (HDC) held in July 2021 for 6 days;

(5) New Breed Marketing Entrepreneur(NBME ) by FAMA in Kuala Lumpur in March 2021; and,
(6) Kursus Inovasi Dalam Perniagaan(KIDP) by PNB and UPM held at UPM Serdang in 2019.


We were also granted use of a book-keeping software by MDEC in 2020.

We would like to extend our appreciation to FAMA, HDC, MDEC and CGC-SME Advisory for the various assistance extended.


Sales Channels and Event Participation

QiBLAH FOODS main sales channels are via the Foodpanda(2023), Shopee(2022) and Lazada(2022) platforms respectively.

We have opened our QF stall at the Bazaar Jumaat in Bukit Damansara(2022) and Masjid At Taqwa, TTDI-KL (16 September 2022) and also at special events.
Amongst the events where we have participated in is:-
(1) Karnival Bank Islam on 14-16 March 2023; and,
(2) Minggu Usahawan Negara 2023 / Minggu PMKS from 7-9 July 2023 at Dataran Merdeka, KL.
